wr_SetDefaultPrinter (Set dedicated printer as default printer then launch application)

For applications that require a dedicated printer driver
Please read the license agreement before using this program: The use of this program is entirely at your own risk.

This tiny utility allows you to set a previously installed printer as "Default Printer" before target applications are launched that require dedicated printers.

You’re start up configuration is determined by the *.ini file to be used, consequently if you choose to put this utility on the network, only one
wr_SetDefaultPrinter executable with many *.ini files can be utilized. To create INI files, select HELP -> SET UP. You can save your INI files anywhere you like (recommended into the same folder as the application to be launched). After sucessfully SAVEing an INI file, a shortcut will be placed on your (or optionally ALL) desktop; use this shortcut to start your application from now on, where the DEFAULT PRINTER as per INI file will be used as DEFAULT PRINTER.

EX LIBRIS VOYAGER users:
Launch REPORTER and print non-emailable notifications as PDF files for manual emailing or as back-up copy; CIRCULATION print to dedicated receipt printers.

If you replace the original shortcut(s) for VOYAGER clients on your Voyager computers with this one on each Voyager computer, anybody using this utility will have the dedicated "default printer" selected automatically on start up. The icons created with this utility will correspond with the EX LIBRIS VOYAGER client icons.
Additionally you can also place one single shortcut on ALL desktops of the computer where you run this utility – check HELP -> SET-UP after running the
wr_SetDefaultPrinter

You may find it helpful to run this utility on a network for all VOYAGER computers to access, thus the configuration for the wr_SetDefaultPrinter is done only once campus wide.

This utility works "out of the box" for VOYAGER REPORTER in the default installation folder for ADOBE PDF printer drivers.

Note:
In order to use a PDF printer driver, a PDF printer driver must have been installed previously, of course.

First time use:
After installation, start up this utility, then select:

HELP -> SET-UP and revise all fields with your desired application and printer etc. when finished -> SAVE INI file with your desired name and folder.
